Shade huffed in aggravation. Yeah, she probably didn't need to yell at the guys, and slamming her way out was a bit over-dramatic, but it was best that she took a walk to calm down. She'd apologize when she got back. Especially since it was a stupid reason to get angry in the first place. To be fair, she was getting sick of stepping on the friggin' books Floppy left all over. It was almost impossible to walk without stepping on them - and then he'd whine about it. As if it wasn't his fault for leaving them there!

At least it was a nice day. The temperature was mild, there was a gentle breeze, and it was overcast enough to not bother the teenager overly much. It would probably rain tonight, covering the drab city in a beautiful shimmer and making the air seem cleaner.

Glancing up, Shade stopped in surprise, taking in the nearby scrapyard. How the heck had she managed to walk this far without realizing it? It was almost twenty blocks away from home. She grumbled to herself as she turned to head back the way she had come.

Asche released a large sigh. Time for another trip to East District's junkyard. She had brought her modded super soaker with her since she figured that a kid walking with a super soaker during summer wouldn't be suspicious...if it wasn't cloudy. It didn't matter to her anymore. She was extremely disappointed of yesterday's outcome. Even though she had more time rummaging around junkyards because summer school had ended, she hadn't been finding a lot of profitable salvageable items. The teacher even had the gall to tell her if she had put more effort in education, she wouldn't have to go.

I know all the answers! I listen in class! I just can't read or write that well. Is what Asche had wanted to say, but her socially awkward personality made it hard to express her thoughts. The weather didn't cheer her up either.

As she was walking to the junkyard, she noticed that a hooded figure in front of her had been going in the same direction as her for a while now. Asche hoped it was otherwise because she didn't want to fight over scraps if one or the other found something sell-able. Just when Asche had decided to go to another junkyard, she noticed that the hooded figure had stopped and started turning back.
Huh? Maybe the person's just lost.

Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade) Empty Re: Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade)

Post by Kier Fri Aug 10, 2012 1:52 am

Lately, Kier had been loitering around the East a lot. Not that didn't always wander aimlessly, but he usually had something to do. There hadn't been any new bounties on the bulletin since the Morrison one. The cloudy weather did little to brighten his mood. He should probably head back before the rain came.

He spun on his heel and he started back the way he came. Nearing the junkyard, he saw the hooded black figure from the bakery. He, or she, seemed pretty aggravated judging by that sigh. From the side, a young teen with a super soaker just shy of the junkyard entrance. Why she was carrying a super soaker was beyond him. Kids these days.

In any case, this could be interesting.
"Hey!" Kier greeted the hooded person by enthusiastically clapping his/her shoulders from behind. "I saw you at the bakery that other time, right?" He didn't really have to ask but it was a good start if he/she didn't remember him. It should be pretty hard to forget such a loud guy in his opinion even if to himself, his voice wasn't that loud. "The name's Kier, by the way. I go by Butterfly sometimes but you can call me whatever. Nice to meet you."

Shade paused when she saw the younger girl, tilting her head as she studied her. Was that a tattoo or body paint? And it just wasn't fair that there were so many things that she couldn't wear. Her lips twisted slightly as she followed her own train of thought before shaking her head.

"I'm going to give myself a complex if I don't stop that," she muttered under her breath. Without really acknowledging the girl, Shade stepped nearer to the street so she wasn't in the way.

It was about then that someone grabbed her shoulders with a loud "Hey!" and startled the hell out of her.

Jumping about a foot in the air, Shade spun in place as her power started to react to her emotions. Recognizing him from the bakery the other day (and hearing him say as much), she closed her eyes and reigned it back in, quickly enough that the reaching tendrils did little more than brush lightly against his arms before fading away again.

She dropped her head and huffed out a breath, more terrified that she had almost hurt someone by accident again than anything else. Lifting her gaze again, she glared at him through her goggles. "What the fuck?! You don't do shit like that! It could get you hurt!"

Hm... Despite the tinted goggles, Asche felt that the hooded figure at front was briefly staring intently at her, but she dismissed the thought because she always seemed to overreact when it comes to socializing with people. The person could just be thinking where he/she made a wrong turn. Due to the bulkiness of the hooded person's clothes, Asche wasn't sure if the person was a he or a she. Asche decided to try her best to give the person no attention, but one thought kept on surfacing in her thoughts.

Please don't ask me for directions!!!

A red-haired man seemed to be coming up behind the hooded figure's. In Asche's mind, the red-haired man didn't look old enough to be called a man, but he didn't look young enough to be called a boy so she was confused in how to describe him. Asche was caught up thinking what to describe the so she froze when he had shouted "Hey!" The hooded figure was surprised as much as she was in the loud greeting. He was smiling so Asche assumed they were friends which is why Asche wasn't expecting the hooded figure to threaten him.
"What the fuck?! You don't do shit like that! It could get you hurt!"

Wait?! I thought they were friends. Oh! Ah, the pitch of the hooded figure was a bit high to be considered a man's voice. That's definitely a girl! Asche thought as she stared at the two more intently. She was curious of the relationship of these two. Maybe they got into an argument and red-haired guy wants to apologize, but hooded person is still angry...Oh! Maybe this is the infamous lover's quarrel!! Asche blushed. Then she remembered that this could actually put her in a bad situation so she crossed her arms and furrowed her brows as she looked in the ground.

Kier blinked twice in surprise, clearly not expecting the hooded person jump at least 10 inches upon his touch. He didn't even use static that time. A cool pressure snapped his mind back into focus. His arms drew back, reaching into his pocket for his brass knuckles when the feeling was suddenly gone. What in the... A shadow? His stance relaxing as he took a step back in confusion.

"What the fuck?! You don't do shit like that! It could get you hurt!"

The look of confusion passed, instantly replaced by one of good humor. "My bad, my bad. Didn't mean to startle you," he apologized to the girl (yes he was sure she was female). He took a moment to glance her up and down. Dark hood, dark shades, dark pants, dark gloves, and dark shoes. She must really hate the light, he assumed. "So, what's a girl like you doing at a junkyard?" Not that he was one to talk.

Waiting for her answer, Kier's orange to blue eyes drifted over to the teen he saw earlier. Her brightly clad body was still and her face was flushed. What was she blushing at, the garbage? Oh wait. She was watching them. Kier didn't even want to know what conclusions the girl was drawing. He considered calling out to her, but trashed the idea. Focusing his attention back to the hooded female, he guessed that she wouldn't want anymore attention than what he was already giving her.

Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade) Empty Re: Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade)

Post by Shade Sat Aug 11, 2012 6:09 pm

Favoring Kier with a blank look, Shade tilted her head slightly. " 'Girl like me'? What is that supposed to mean?" While she could be pretty wrong with her assumptions of people and didn't often know what to make of people, this guy was even harder for her to understand than normal. "And what does it matter why I'm here?"

She hated being startled - it always made her defensive and more prone to lashing out, trying to get the person to leave her alone or to stop looking too closely. She crossed her arms, scowling up at him as one hand came to rest near her bracelet. She hadn't missed his hand going for his pocket earlier. Hopefully he hadn't noticed her short lapse of control.

Eying him, she got a better look now than she had the other day. His necklace was interesting - a butterfly in a vial. It wasn't something she had seen before but she didn't have any room to disparage. She looked like a goth more times than not and one of her best friends had computers for rabbit ears. And what was with all these guys being so much taller than her? If it wasn't for Blanch being shorter, she would have thought it had something to do with them being harbingers.

The red-haired guy had seen her blushing. Looking closely at the two, she noticed that the red-hair had strangely coloured eyes. A harbinger?! This was the first time Asche had seen in broad daylight. Asche wasn't sure how to react. She obviously was interested in the two, but she knew better than to step in to a random couple’s argument. She could hear their argument in the background of her thoughts.

Should I be scared or not? Hm… The furrows between Asche’s brows deepen. I really shouldn’t think too much on this. I should really go to the junkyard.

Asche started walking again feeling a tad disappointed. She wanted to have a person to openly argue like that too. It didn’t have to be a boyfriend, but a friend would be nice. She pouted. Kicking the dirt at her feet, she decided to take a look back at the two.

Hoooo boy, I think I stepped on a landmine there. "And what does it matter why I'm here?" Her face twisted into a scowl. He watched her hand reach into the sleeve of her crossed arms, most likely a weapon. Kier didn't plan to start a fight, but he did want to know more about that strange pressure. "It doesn't. Just a bit curious about that Harbing of yours." Might as well come out and say it. He wasn't one to beat around the bush, since that never gets anywhere.

Crossing his own arms loosely, he noticed her studying his necklace. That gave him an idea.
"How about this?" he began, lifting up his necklace. "I'll tell you a bit more about this and you can tell me what I'm dying to know. Oh, I didn't catch your name by the way." Okay, 'dying' wasn't the most accurate word but he was fairly intrigued.

Just like the teen stepping quietly behind him. She had dodged eye contact when he glanced over at her, although she did seem shocked he was a Harbinger. He turned to look over his shoulder and extended his invitation to her.
"You interested too, kid? The more the merrier right?

Jaw tightening, Shade's voice dropped in volume and she took a step closer, her hands dropping and closing into fists. "Why should I tell you anything? And you didn't catch my name because I didn't give it."

Turning her head slightly, Shade glanced at the other girl when Kier drew her attention that way. Even with the goggles, it was pretty easy to see that the older female wasn't too pleased with the young man. She looked back at him and reached a hand out to poke his chest, coming close to his pendant. "Just because you don't care if your secrets are spread all over, that doesn't mean the same can be said of others," she hissed softly.

Post by Asche Sat Aug 11, 2012 9:50 pm

Asche just realized she might’ve made a mistake. Apparently the couples in front of her were just two people that barely knew each other and nothing more. She was shocked at her own exaggeration and took note that when two people, one male and one female, are openly arguing in the street aren’t necessarily ‘together’. Phew, this relationship with other people sure is hard to grasp.

Asche nodded at her mental note when a voice rang out. "You interested too, kid?”

Wait?! Did I hear that right? Asche was momentarily stunned at the red-hair’s invitation. She was delighted at the invitation, but hid her smile under a deformed scowl with the left side of her mouth slightly raised. She looked at the two people and noticed that the hooded figure was disapproving of his actions. She looked at them. Then she looked at the floor. She thought that it might not be the best choice to interfere. Raising her head she spoke two words, “Stranger danger.”

The girl was getting angry, Kier could tell. Something about it, though, was kind of funny, like the way she dropped her arms and balled them into fists rather than reaching for her weapon. His own hand, the one not holding up necklace, was still in his pockets as she stepped forward to jab a gloved finger in his chest. She is completely in my range of fire. He didn't plan to fight, but he would if he had to.

"Just because you don't care if your secrets are spread all over, that doesn't mean the same can be said of others."

Damn did he wish her voice hadn't dropped so low. Wasn't pissed off people supposed to speak louder, not get so quiet that his half-deafness became a problem? He had heard the 'spreading secrets' and 'doesn't said of other.' With that he could guess, the girl had accused him of being too open with his secrets. It was as plain as day that she wasn't the open-type. Well, he didn't exactly ask for her 'secrets'.

"You know, it isn't really confidential that you're a Harbinger. If you hadn't slipped a bit back there, most likely I wouldn't be asking about it." ...That was a half-lie, but saying so wouldn't help his case. On the other hand, the offer to spill about his necklace was still kind of iffy. It was the one thing he liked to keep a mystery.

“Stranger danger.”

Kier had forgotten the girl behind him until she spoke up, her two words sending him into a fit of laughter. When was the last time a person had used those terms? She really is a kid, huh? Regaining his posture, he managed to say, "Kid, there are people out there way stranger than me." And it's likely those strangers could be waiting right around the junkyard, ready to maul the next unfortunate soul that rounds that corner. The girl had responded to him, which meant she was at least a little curious.

Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade) Empty Re: Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade)

Post by Shade Sun Aug 12, 2012 12:37 pm

As Shade was about to tell Kier off - something about not wanting anything advertised and that she wouldn't have 'slipped' if he hadn't decided to randomly accost people, she heard the other girl speak up.

"Stranger danger."

Temper derailed, she looked over and huffed out a soft laugh, sounding a bit disbelieving. There was danger even with those you knew.

When Kier broke into laughter, Shade turned back to him and, realizing how close she had gotten, took a couple of quick steps away, a little surprised that someone she didn't even know had put up with her in a bad mood. At least he didn't seem uncomfortable with her. That, or he was hiding it very well.

Nodding in agreement with his statement, Shade realized that this was one of those situations that she owed an apology for. Well, she was pretty sure it was.

"Shade," she offered, much calmer than earlier as she held out a hand. Looking down, she shifted her weight from one foot to the other. She had never been anything other than awkward when apologizing. "And... sorry for that, Kier, was it? I'm not having the greatest of days, but... Yeah, sorry."

Post by Asche Sun Aug 12, 2012 8:13 pm

Asche began contemplating if she chose the right words to respond with until she heard the burst of laughter the red-head and the soft chuckle of the hooded girl. Bewildered by their reactions, Asche tilted her head in confusion. I guess I said something funny.

"Kid, there are people out there way stranger than me." The comment from the red-head and the nod of agreement from the hooded girl made her even more confused. Asche was wondering if they were meant that the stranger person was herself. After all, a lot of people had told her of her weirdness at school and she frowned at the thought. She dismissed the thought and noticed that the two seemed to be on better terms all of a sudden. That’s interesting. Weren’t they fighting just a moment ago? Relationships are weird…

The hooded figure extended an arm and introduced herself to the red-head and she soon knew the people before her as Shade and Kier. She smiled at the sight of a friendship.

The girl behind him looked confused at his sudden burst of laughter. And even more puzzled when the hooded girl let out a chuckle of her own. Then he could see gears turning in eyes. More strange conclusions, he assumed.

Shade, as she had introduced herself as, held out a hand to shake. Kier was surprised but gladly took it. She apologized for her behavior, saying it was just a bad day. Flashing her a smile, he replied,
"Yeah, it's all good. This type of weather could have anyone on edge." As if on cue, rain began to fall in large, fat drops. Great, just when her bitter mood seemed to have dissolved.

The red-head slipped his hand out of his pocket and pulled up his hood.
"Let's find a drier place to talk!" He had to raise his voice to hear himself over the increasingly hard rain. There was nothing he hated more than summer rain: hot, humid, and unnecessarily wet.

Ugh, it was nearly seven, the closing time for most shops.
"How about-" His sentence was cut off by the sound of an explosion right around the corner of the junkyard. The irony of it all. Psychos were trying to kill them without even waiting for them to round the corner.

"Believe me, it isn't the weather," Shade muttered, tugging her hood forward a bit so her face wouldn't get wet. She really didn't have a problem with the rain, she actually rather liked it. Getting soaked and looking like someone had tried to drown her though? Not so much.

"Let's find a drier place to talk!"

Figuring that he probably wouldn't let her just walk away considering how he was earlier, she just nodded in agreement. Where the hell would they go at this time though?

Twisting around in surprise at the explosion, Shade's eyes darted toward the younger girl. She knew she could handle herself and was pretty sure that Kier could do the same, but the girl? Glancing at Kier, she took a few steps toward Asche.

"Come here," she ordered, feeling a similar sort of protectiveness for her as she had for Trevor the other day. If she kept this up, she'd be bringing home strays. And wouldn't that go over well?

Asche extended her hands, palms up, to feel the rain. She knew the Eastern Junkyards better than the rest to due it’s close proximity to her home so she occasionally planned a late salvage, but she wasn’t expecting such heavy rain in summer. I’ll have to postpone the trip to the junkyard. Salvaging in this kind of weather can be dangerous. I might slip when I rummage around one of the hills of scraps in one and fall into something sharp. I’m not exactly dressed for this weather either. Asche, arms still extended, didn’t want to go back yet. She knew that she’s going to have a hard month with her grandpa with bills closing in.

She wanted to at least take a quick scan around the dump, but abandoned all thoughts of it when she heard the explosion. Asche was surprised that Shade had approached her.
"Come here,"she ordered. Asche gave it a quick thought and decided going with them was better than meeting the people who started the explosion. She gave a quick nod.

Heavy smoke and trash flew everywhere, not to mention there was the horrible smell of gasoline mixed in with the trash. Kier coughed and threw his arm over his mouth. He was debating whether or not to go check whatever, or whoever, caused the explosion. Seeing Shade go protectively over to the orange-clad teen, he assumed they knew how to get away.

Slipping on his knuckles, he approached the corner slowly. He didn't know what he was expecting, maybe some stupid teenagers with too much free time on their hands or at least people in gas masks. But no, around the corner was nothing. Surprised only for a moment, he scanned his surroundings. Nobody to his left, right, or back.

Kier's head snapped up just as a masked guy fell onto his back, pinning him to the ground. He was light, fortunately, giving Kier the upper hand. Flipping their positions, he gave the guy a solid punch to the stomach with a little added shock for extra measure. That should stun him for a bit.

He guessed there were more people that probably went after the girls. Kier stood up and sprinted back to them.

Post by Shade Mon Aug 13, 2012 3:39 pm

Looking toward Kier again, Shade was surprised to see him moving toward the explosion. "What the hell are you doing?!" she hissed after him. When he didn't respond and just vanished around the corner, she shook her head and turned to Asche. "He'll be fine, but we should get out of here. If cops come, we'll probably be blamed for this."

As she was reaching out to usher the smaller teen away, movement in the corner of her eye drew her attention. Seeing the people coming toward them, she turned her nudge into a shove, calling out, "Run!" as she did so.

Turning toward the masked group (and who the hell wore masks?), Shade yanked the coiled wire she wore as a bracelet from her wrist and let most of it fall. Holding the pointed piece of metal at one end in her left hand, she slid her right a few feet along the wire and hefted the blunted weight into the air. It only took a couple of seconds, enough time for one of them to get into range, for her to work up a decent rotation speed. Shifting her weight and throwing her arm forward, Shade launched the five pounds of metal into one man's face, crumpling the mask and breaking his nose.

She turned toward the other, yanking the weight back and into another spin as he fell.

Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade) Empty Re: Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade)

Post by Asche Mon Aug 13, 2012 6:26 pm

Asche felt nostalgic when she smelled the air. Asche was familiar with burning gasoline all too well since she’s used it as fuel for her weapon before. But thanks to some upgrades, the fuel she concocted made fire difficult to diminish in rain due to accidental mixings of liquids and solids. She was a bit curious how the explosion started…okay very curious so she felt a bit jealous when Kier went off to look how the explosion was made even when Shade made a hissy noise at him.

Shade shook her head in disapproval and turned towards Asche.
"He'll be fine, but we should get out of here. If cops come, we'll probably be blamed for this." Asche knew Shade was right, but the police in the Eastern District don’t respond as quickly as the police in the Northern district unless someone important was there. Although there were the random times when they had responded quickly, but she wasn’t sure why. Gang activity? Near the area? Boredom?

As Shade was about to reach out towards Asche, Shade had given her a rough push and yelled,
"Run!” Asche followed her orders and ran towards an alley and paused. She saw a trash can with covering over it so she squatted down right next to it. She immediately started drawing mental map of the general area, thinking of the best escape route. No way was she going to leave Shade behind...or Kier if he comes back. They needed a diversion to run away and Asche tried starting up her child-like flamethrower with haste. Even though the fuel she had made fire difficult to diminish in rain, this all doesn’t work if the external lighter wouldn’t start. (Her weapon had work as a spray bottle with highly flammable material with a fire right outside the nozzle.)

The rain had made the lighter impossible to start! She threw the toy in frustration. As she was about to run back, she eyed the trashcan, opened it, and desperately searched for an empty glass bottle and dry paper. She found two empty 40z and old XXX magazines. Fumbling into her pockets, she reached for a spare lighter that was drier and checked if it could still light.
Yes, this will work! She picked up the super soaker and poured the fuel in the empty bottles and soaked a good part of the paper she had ripped from the magzine with fuel so it could be easily lit. She assembled the pieces together and scurried back in Shade's direction. I hope I have good aim.

Kier wasn't sure what to expect of the masked guy's buddies, certainly not lying on the ground defeated. In the back, he could see the teen load up her super soaker with trashed porn. Ooookay, what the hell would she do with that?

The guy he already took down stirred, the paralysis wearing off. As he tried to sit up, Kier lifted him by the collar until they were eye level and ripped off the gas mask. The guy struggled but his smaller stature worked towards his disadvantage. He was dressed all in bright colors with dirty blond hair and normal brown eyes. Mid-twenties maybe, with a pretty face save for the one burn across his nose bridge.

Kier lifted a fist and faked a punch at his gut. The smaller man flinched, as the red-head laughed.
"Chill, dude. I won't hit you. Yet." He dropped the guy to the ground and crouched in front of him, making eye contact. Being confronted by a Harbinger didn't faze the guy, in fact he mirrored Kier's own smirk. That was new.

"Kieran Vega," the guy began. Kier blinked, surprised someone knew his full name. He never introduced himself with that name, as a way to cut away from his family. His smile faltered, but quickly recovered into a darker grin.

"In the flesh. Need something from me?"

Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade) Empty Re: Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade)

Shade sidestepped the second man and lashed out, catching him in the back of the head with her weapon, ignoring him as he stumbled a couple of steps and fell. "What the hell do you want?!" she snarled, looking at the first again. Scowling when she saw he had gained his feet and pulled out a knife, she held her ground. Her mind flashed through several courses of action before she shrugged off the potential risks and said screw it, calling up her mutation to wrap around him.

Keeping a corner of her mind on holding the first man against the fence, she turned back toward the other. Apparently deciding that the returning Asche was a better target, he had started toward her.

Momentarily stymied by the fact she hadn't knocked him unconscious outright, Shade took the step forward she needed to get the right angle for tripping him up. As the wire wrapped around his ankles, she made a loop out of the other end and moved to toss it over his head.

Looking up at Asche, she took in the molotovs and raised an eyebrow. "I hope you weren't thinking of throwing that while I was still in the way," she commented calmly, nodding at the bottles. It was as if she wasn't completely aware that she was currently strangling a man. "You okay?"

Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade) Empty Re: Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade)

After quickly capping the super soaker and flung it around to her back, Asche picked up the already lit molatovs and ran towards Shade.

Shade was confronted with two men in masks, one of them whipped out a knife against the single person. Feeling the urgency of the situation, Asche lengthen her strides in an attempt to get there faster. As she was running, she saw that one of the men was suddenly wrapped in a black fabric-like substance. It seemed to come from the shadows. Asche was shocked, yet Shade has remained calm in the situation, almost as if she had known that shadow would come.
Was Shade also a harbinger?

This wasn’t the best time to be thinking such thoughts because Asche noticed the other man running towards her. Calculating the distance and weight of the molatov in her right hand, she brought back her harm in an attempt to launch it towards the running boulder of a man. Before Asche had propelled the bottled in front of her, Shade had him in a hold. Good thing I didn't throw the bottle yet. Shade was calm in the situation despite holding the man in a painful hold. "I hope you weren't thinking of throwing that while I was still in the way. Asche replied with silence. She wasn’t sure what to expect anymore. The younger girl vigorously shook her head in an attempt to remain her composure, but it didn't work as much as she had hoped.

Shade had asked,
"You okay?" "Okay? Yes! Need to get out of here. There’s a path, 15 minutes of running, that’ll quickly get us to a main street,” the small figure had said, jumbling her words in the process, while pointing one of her molatovs in that direction. Remembering the objects in her hands, she looked at Shade and held both of the bottles up. “Do we still need these?”

The sound of crashing came from the girls' general area. Hearing Shade's voice ask the teen if she was okay, Kier felt safe to assume they were holding their own against the others. He gave his full attention to the man still on the ground in front of him.

"Worried about your girlfriends? You seem to have a lot," the man remarked smugly, as if he knew more than he was letting on. He admit he had a couple girlfriends these past years, but none of them had even been close to a serious relationship. He kept distance from the people he met specifically so confidential information stayed confidential. The blonde continued when Kier didn't respond, "So I'll cut to the chase, we want you in Oblivion. You got potential considering you were able to hold your own with Slyph. She wasn't our best but she was still labeled a B-rank."

Ah, so that's why. He didn't understand why the whole explosion thing was necessary to get his attention, though. Sure he was deaf, but not that deaf. "And I should accept the invitation from a person who tried to smash me and company because...?" He raised an a challenging eyebrow.

"Oblivion suits your kind better than Diamond Dust. You saw how pathetic their ranks are." No longer surprised by the amount the guy knew anymore, he responded.

"Yeah, I'll get back to you on that. Don't go anywhere." He stood up and headed towards Shade, whistling when he saw she was strangling her opponent with another one laying on the ground. The teen held bottles of Molotov in each hand, at least she wasn't attempting to throw it yet. "Before you cause another explosion, this guy's offering something," he said, motioning towards the blonde, and then addressing the orange clad girl, "Not sure if you'd be interested but you can listen in too."

Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade) Empty Re: Near one of the Eastern Junkyards (Asche, Kier, Shade)

Hearing the approaching footsteps, Shade twisted to look behind her. Smirking slightly when she saw it was Kier, she turned back to the man under her. Satisfied that he was unconscious and would be staying that way for a while, she let the wire go lax and started to unloop it from around his ankles.

Straightening, Shade quickly coiled the wire back into the bracelet she wore and put it back on. Just by that movement, it was a bit obvious she had done that before. "Well, you look fine." She eyed the blond behind Kier and cocked her head. "And do I look they type to cause explosions?" In all likelyhood, he was probably referring to Asche, but it didn't hurt to ask.

She huffed, glaring at the guy she had wrapped in shadows. Sick of listening to him whimper, she twitched a couple of fingers and twisted her hold on her power a little, just enough to throw what looked like a hood over his head, shutting out the sound.

"Now, who's offering what?"
