To request your first character, just go ahead and create the thread in this section, using the below application(s). Please be aware that we have a "One character per account" rule on this site.

For additional accounts, you must have reached a threshold of 20 Reputation to request a second character. To request another character, all existing accounts must have an amount of Rep equal to or greater than 10 times the number of the new account (so for your third slot, you would need 30 rep in both existing accounts; fourth slot requires 40 in all three existing accounts) and be somewhat active. Currently, you can only have THREE characters at a time, and no more than TWO harbingers (barring slots purchased with the Rep Marketplace).

To request, please fill out one of the following:

The world of the Radius is essentially a tweaked, alternate reality of our own world. Be aware of this as you design your character. This means that the only way your character will have blue or green or pink hair is if it has been dyed. By that same respect, your character will not grow additional limbs or extremities (such as wings or tails or the like).

All character start out as civilians. To officially join a gang, you must be approved and have a gang-joining RP of at least 20 posts.

Here is the basic form you may follow to create a profile:

GENERAL
APPEARANCE: Write a physical description of your character here. Your description must be, at minimum, 200 words.

REAL NAME: The City is located in an alternative dimension of OUR WORLD. Please don't name your character anything you wouldn't name your own child (unless you want them to suffer through their entire school career, I guess).

AGE: 13+

GENDER: Your character's gender.

WEAPON: Primary weapon. There is a no-guns/explosives policy until your character reaches a certain rank. Other weapons may not be approved as well. Think about what you could feasibly walk around with or hide in our world and use that as a base to judge by.

PERSONALITY: A description of your character's personality. You can include things like how other people see your character, how the character sees the world, what they like, what they dislike, what annoys them, what makes them happy, etc. Be as thorough as you want to be, but please give me more than just a sentence or two.

BRIEF HISTORY: Your character's history before this point. The Centrifuge and government are off-limits. Your character must originate in the Radius, especially if a harbinger.

PROJECTED GANG AFFILIATION: The Network, the Guild, the Fringe, or none. Look [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] for more information.

HARBINGER (Only harbinger characters need to have this section completed.)

MUTATION: ONLY ONE. Be as specific as possible when describing your character's ability. Include various limitations (such as range, time duration, things immune to it, etc.). And remember, just because you only have one power, doesn't mean there can't be more than one application for it.
NOTE: Powers involving spirits or causing death to someone are NOT ALLOWED. Powers involving mind control or mind reading are extremely limited and likely to be turned down.

RESTITUTION: The price paid by your character for his/her power. There are two types of harbingers: TYPE 2 harbingers must pay their price every time they use their ability, and TYPE 1 harbingers pay a single, permanent price at birth, and none afterward. The level of severity of the price usually corresponds to the limit of one's power.
NOTE: Type 2 harbingers are more common than Type 1 harbingers.

EYE COLOR: Harbingers are distinguishable from normal humans only by the atypicalness and/or intensity of their eye color. Some are born with eyes only slightly off color from the usual--others are born with eyes that make normal folk back away immediately.

STATS
NOTE: All distributed stat points MUST total to 32 or less and no single stat can be higher than 10.

STRENGTH: physical strength
STAMINA: ability to withstand injury / fatigue
SPEED: physical speed
COORDINATION: flexibility / balance
WILLPOWER: ability to keep in control / ignore things

Statistics are there to give you and others a general idea of where your character stands among everyone else. No one is perfect. People excel in different areas and not so well in others, and the same applies to your characters. ((There will be a way to increase your stats after getting in some role-playing.))

The logos at the bottom are as follows, from left to right: the Network, the Guild, and the Fringe. The "Details" box is for additional character features that you want others to be aware of, such as the design of a tattoo or iris detail.
