You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli] Empty You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli]

It was easy to get lost in the displays and artifacts. An art museum was more up Harvey's alley than this but he was still quite enjoying his time inside of it. Given it wasn't a very busy day to be going to the Museum there weren't all that many crowds around which made for a more peaceful exhibit. As he moved from exhibit to exhibit he could hear the echo of his footsteps resounding throughout the halls and wings of the place. Truly the Northern District had some really nice things to see and was well worth duplicating the cash it took to pay the cover charge.

Eventually he found himself in an exhibition hall filled with information and artifacts from the civilization that had lived here before it was taken over and settled. It was pretty relaxing to just look at some of the native artifacts that had been gathered together and just imagine yourself in that sort of world. He bet that sort of world was the kind where you could smoke indoors. Hell, they had entire houses built for smoking in if they were doing anything right in that civilization. A place where you could drink fire water, also known as whiskey, and enjoy a good hit off the peace pipe.

There was a reason it was called the peace pipe too, because nobody was stressed the hell out when you could smoke in a place that took a couple hours to explore.

He took a look to his right and left before sneaking out a single cigarette and lighting up.

A quick half won't bother or notice anyone will it?

He took a quick drag and nearly had a heart attack as soon as he heard footsteps approaching where he was. He quickly took one long pull and fumbled with the cigarette as it fell from his mouth and behind a display of wooden carvings.

FUCK.

He snapped around to see who it was as he managed to stammer out, "that wasn't me."

You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli] Empty Re: You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli]

Alayn yawned. What was she doing inside such a boring museum again? This place was absolutely dreadful. There really wasn’t anything fun to do or even see. All the exhibits failed to spark even the slightest bit of interest in her. So what was she doing here?

Oh, right. There was nothing else to do in the city. If a museum was her last resort for entertainment, then there was something wrong with the world.
Looking around the museum, she saw a sign pointing to an ancient civilization exhibition. Having explored everywhere else and finding it a bit too boring, she decided to enter that exhibit. She honestly hoped that it would be so much better than the rest of the horrid museum. With any luck, those exhibits would have real artifacts and not the fakes that made her trip here way too boring.

Stepping into the hall, she looked around to see what was there. There were several different exhibits, each housing many strange artifacts. Taking a bored glance, she skimmed over the various information cards, absorbing the information.

Alayn sighed, continuing through the exhibit. Suddenly, someone in front of her dropped something and quickly twisted around.

"that wasn't me."

What was he talking about? Was it related to what he dropped? Curious, she asked.

“What wasn’t you?”

You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli] Empty Re: You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli]

Man, oh man... I am so lost... For the past half hour, Nolli had been strolling aimlessly around the huge North District Museum in search of his family.

The Sharma family had decided to take a much needed vacation from their chaotic lifestyle and tour the North District. Today was museum day, and Nolli had gone to take a quick trip to the bathroom. Unsurprisingly, his large family of fourteen had gone on to the next exhibit- unaware of Nolli's disappearance. Pfft, well this was bound to happen at some point, I guess... Better me than one of the little guys. Taking a head count every hour or two, Nolli's family was sure to acknowledge his absence eventually.

Aside from his family, Nolli had seen only a few other individuals touring the museum. Most were the intellectual-looking type, others were probably tourists like himself.

Growing accustomed to leisurely browsing the exhibits alone, Nolli happened upon many new and interesting things. He'd taken a peculiar liking to the old, hand-crafted masks from a continent somewhere on the other side of the world.

He'd been examining a heavily decorated wall when he found himself in a room that displayed antiques from a much earlier civilization. Glancing around, he spotted a rather startled, twenty-some man standing in front of some old wood carvings. A younger girl with bright red hair stood in front of him.

"That wasn't me," the guy stammered.

“What wasn’t you?” the girl asked.

Nolli came up behind the girl and peered beyond her and the guy to the smoking carvings. Ohhh... that's definitely not good..., he remarked inwardly. "Dude, that was clearly you," he nodded towards the burning display. Nolli looked up towards a nearby security camera, I'll just stay way back here so they can't question my involvement in this...

Nolli grinned, slightly amused and completely unsure of what he should do. On one hand, the museum was boring as hell, and accidentally burning it down would definitely liven things up (that's a horrible reason), on the other, lawsuit.

"You... You should put that out," Nolli gestured towards the small fire that'd taken to the dry wood. Doesn't this place have any smoke de- The fire alarm went off. Heh, yep.

You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli] Empty Re: You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli]

This place is… clean.

There was no other way to describe the museum, or really the entire North District. Ceara sighed, eyes passing over the glossy cases of the artifacts. Talia made a good call, making her dress up a bit more when she heard her best friend was going to the North District. In her normal clothes, she would’ve stuck out like a sore thumb among the clean-cut people here. Ceara smirked and leaned over to read the placard next to the creepy mask, feeling her (much thicker than normal) wallet slide around her jacket pocket. ‘Least they got fatter wallets here.

She straightened up and glanced down the rest of the hallway. So many things… Ceara made her way to the next artifact, and cocked her head as she studied the tapestry before her. To be honest, history wasn’t really her thing, but she had never been in a nice museum before… so why not? The exhibit wasn’t that bad, actually.

The sound of a nervous voice from around the corner made her look up. "That wasn't me."

“What wasn’t you?”

"Dude, that was clearly you."

Ceara blinked as the smell of smoke reached her nose and peeked her head into the adjacent room. “The fuck is going on?” A guilty looking man, maybe a few years older than her, a redheaded girl and -ohmygod- Nolli stood next to a small fire… originating from wooden carvings, obviously part of the exhibit. Well, fuck. She snorted to herself, noticing the camara on the wall. That man is going to be knee deep in a lot of shit.

She winced as the smoke set off an alarm, filling the room with a ear-piercing shriek. Frowning at the trio standing in shock, she reached into her pocket and emptied them. Fucking hell… Shoving the other people out of her way, Ceara whipped off her jacket and attempted to smother the rising flames, praying the jacket wouldn't go up as well.

You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli] Empty Re: You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli]

Post by Hoss Sun Sep 09, 2012 2:36 pm

His nice little area of privacy had soon turned into a bit of a busy section as a red haired harbinger girl had shown herself to be the owner of the aforementioned footsteps. "What wasn't you?" He tried to turn so that his body was between her and the little wisps of smoke that had risen from the fallen cigarette. The only issue being she hadn't been the only one there.

"Dude, that was clearly you."

He didn't really pay as much attention to the guy so much as the way he nodded. Hoss turned to see that this clearly was quite unfortunate. Seriously how bad was his luck? Cigarettes, even lit ones, had enough trouble starting dry brush into full out flames. This wasn't good. He started to back away slowly as flames seemed to spark. It was like watching a car crash in slow motion. All of them were witness to it and he wasn't really capable of just explaining it away. He just wished that girl hadn't snuck up on him. Retrospect was always 20/20 though.

"You… You should put that out."

Alarms sounded and Hoss looked up.

"The fuck is going on?"

His eyes weren't on the girl putting the fire out as best as possible with her jacket, they weren't even on the boy who had pointed out his fault in all this or the girl who spotted them. No, they were on the sprinkler heads, sprinkler heads that seemed to be moving with a bit of life. "Oh just great."

Water began to pour down from the ceiling, raining heavily over the group as louder footsteps could be heard. Boots, running through the hallways with the sound of clapping against the newly wet floors. Hoss' heart rate picked up as he started fearing that he would get in trouble and be charged some absurd amount to pay back to the museum. I mean, sure they were insured but, he would still have to pay out if he was found responsible for this. It was his cigarette, he had a pack of em on his person. It had his finger print and everything. However, if he could just get out of here maybe the butt would burn up and he could burn the pack.

I'm never smoking again.

"You four, hold it!"

Ah shit.

"THEY DID IT!" Hoss was off like a bullet, speeding in the opposite direction of the security, making his way through the mask exhibit with no clue as to whether or not the others were running. All he knew was that he had three people that could take his fall and he was going to take opportunity of the fact.

Suckers…

You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli] Empty Re: You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli]

What a stupid person. Who in their right mind would have a smoke so close to the wooden artifacts? All it resulted in was 3 people witnessing the ‘crime’ and a smoking exhibit. The smoke had then triggered the sprinklers, drenching them and the exhibits around them.

Alayn smiled. It looked like she would get her entertainment after all. She wondered what else would result from this blunder.

Her questions were answered within minutes. Several people came running in, angry and concerned expressions on their faces. Unlike her, they definitely weren’t happy with what had happened. How typical. No one ever shared her sense of entertainment. She would definitely have to fix that one day.

"You four, hold it!"

At that, the smoker yelled out and began running in the opposite direction. He was clearly trying to blame them, but Alayn guessed that it would be unsuccessful. In any case, it looked like he wasn’t looking forward to facing the music, but neither was she. She might like entertainment of all sorts, but paying for expensive artifacts? Not really on the list. Taking a quick look back at the approaching mob, she quickly made her decision.

Swiftly turning around, she began running after the smoker. Besides not taking the fall for the incident, there was obviously going to be some entertainment in following the troublemaker.

Sprinting, Alayn unfortunately didn’t take into account the wet floors, causing her to slip. She fell forward, landing on her arm. Cursing aloud, she quickly got back up and began running again, slightly more careful this time. She wasn’t going to get caught, and she was definitely going to get her entertainment for the day.

You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli] Empty Re: You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli]

Post by SoupX Tue Sep 11, 2012 10:51 pm

Almost as soon as the alarms started to sound, a familiar looking faced rushed in from a nearby room. Haze? Nolli squinted to get a better look. That was definitely Haze.

"OH, HI HAZE!" Nolli waved to her as she attempted to extinguish the small flames with her jacket.

"THEY DID IT!"

At the sound of the accusation, Nolli turned back to the guy and raised an eyebrow, wwoooww, asshole.

He watched, getting thoroughly soaked, as the red-head scrambled after the guy attempting to flee the scene. Eyeballing the guards, who seemed far more occupied with the fleeing duo, Nolli gradually receded, hoping to mask his presence in the midst of the chaos. At this point, the two were far enough away that running after them himself would be pointless. Crossing his arms, Nolli pondered what he should do in this type of situation. As things were now, he could probably just sneak away unnoticed. Sneak away and go back to touring museums.... Nope, nope, nope.

Suddenly, an idea came to him. Though probably not a good idea, it was still an idea.

Grinning mischievously, Nolli carefully removed one of his mismatched boots. He cautiously creeped along the wall until he was directly under the camera, which was apparently the only one in this particular room. He snorted, dumbasses... One camera left way too many blind spots.

Taking aim, Nolli threw the boot at hard as he could. Oh my fucking God, are you kidding me... Nolli scowled at the sudden turn of events. Just as the boot was about to come down on the head of the Unintended Arsonist, a museum guard somehow found his way into its trajectory. Still scowling, Nolli glared as the boot hit with a loud smack. The guard crumpled to the floor, unconscious. Unfortunately, Nolli wasn't the only one to witness the happening amongst the craziness. Another guard turned to where the boot had come from and started to make his way towards Nolli.

Tsk, dammit. I knew that wasn't a good idea... Now it was time to run. Removing his other boot in order to balance his steps, Nolli chucked it at the second guards face. He smirked, the guy dropped like a rock.

Now sprinting, careful not to slip on the wet tile like the red-head had done earlier, Nolli made his way to the exit opposite of the one the smoker and red-head were due towards.

This wasn't his original plan, but it was still better than going to the Museum of Benign Parasites (which was to be toured by the Sharma family in two hours.)

Maybe if he was fast enough, Nolli would be able to catch up with the other two on the other side of the building.

That is, if they escaped

“OH, HI HAZE!”

Ceara winced at his loud voice, sending a glare at the fucking idiot through her soaked bangs. From behind her she heard heavy footfalls, and a, “You four, hold it!” Well, fucking shit.

“THEY DID IT!” The man with the hat sprinted off, followed by the other girl. Ceara blinked after them, dropping her jacket. Are they shitting me right now?

She turned around to meet the pair of -stereotypically- fat guards, plastering a smile on her face. This wasn’t her fault, not in the slightest, so she wasn’t going down with that asshole. “I’m sorry sirs, there seems to be a misunderstanding…” She trailed off when she noticed a grinning Nolli under the security camera, boot in hand. What the fuck is he doing? Her question was answered when he suddenly threw the boot as hard as he could. Obviously, by the look on his face, his target was not one of the guards, who had dropped to the ground, unconscious. She whipped her eyes to meet Nolli’s, hissing out, “What the actual fuck?”

His only response was to throw his second boot at the other guard, also rendering him unconscious, before sprinting in the opposite direction from the other two. Ceara growled, pinching the bridge of her nose, before picking up her discarded jacket and wallet, both of which were completely drenched. Deciding quickly, she took off in the direction the man with the hat went, grumbling all the way.

It didn’t take too long to find the man, she just followed the trail of water drops. Pushing out an extra burst of speed, she caught up to him, tugging on the back of his top, forcing him to turn around. “I’m fucking wet,” she poked him in the chest, “I’m fucking miserable,” another poke, “The museum security is looking for the four of us,” a harder poke, “and it’s all your fucking fault.” Grabbing a hold of his collar, she pulled him down to her height. “But you, you’re gonna help me get out of this shit.”

You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli] Empty Re: You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli]

Post by Hoss Wed Sep 12, 2012 10:33 pm

He heard someone slip behind him and he hoped that it was his ticket to a safe location but after looking behind him he saw that they had gotten back up. He did however manage to grab the name of one of the girl's that was behind him. He didn't know which one it had been but he wasn't very interested in talking to either of them at this point. Mostly he just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. A goal which seemed slightly unattainable as soon as he slipped up turning to face forward again, his body sliding across the wet floor as his hands pressed down.

Quick escape time….

Only that had been paused as he got up and felt a hand grab the back of his jacket. He turned around and faced what had to be one of the prettier girls he had seen in a long time. The red haired girl had caught up to them as well, a pretty one herself though not quite Hoss's tastes. "I'm fucking wet." Her finger poked him but he had taken that entirely the wrong way as a devilish grin crossed his face. "I'm fucking miserable." That grin didn't dare escape as he stared into her eyes, appreciating them right now. She had something up her sleeve, he just didn't know what right now. She had to have something she could do, right? "The museum security is looking for the four of us and it's your fucking fault."

She grabbed his collar and pulled him down as he felt a tingle down his spine. This was getting quite touchy feely, he got to thinking that maybe they should be taking this somewhere in private so he could address how wet he had made her? "But you, you're gonna help me get out of this shit."

"My pleasure," he told her as his hand brushed a wet bang behind her hair and shooting her a wink before pulling away from her and dropping his hands to the ground. His mind focused on the water and the ground and he got an idea. He raised his wet hand and felt the water as the hand against the ground converted a mass of material to water, his hand almost melting through the surface as he felt the floor under his hand convert. "Going down…"

The floor turned to water, at first dropping slightly and creating more water and then as the thicker layers were converted the rest broke out from under the weight of them. Hoss fell down hard on one knee before looking up, "Follow me."

The blow to the knee and the fact that he was a smoke slowed him down a little from his normal top speed but the adrenaline and endorphins that kicked in began making up for that little fact. He took off in the direction he would have just come from a floor above, making his way toward the nearest display. As he moved though he felt the urge to whistle grow too strong.

"Looks like hiding isn't an optio-" The sentence was cut off as he began to whistle the globetrotters theme song, his eyes darting around for an exit sign.

Fuck, way out… way out….

He saw a window and pointed it out, tearing toward it as he heard the distant sounds that most likely had been tweedle dee and tweedle dum falling through the hole he had made. Then again for all he knew it had been the other guy who had seemingly gone missing since the initial escape.

Where could the last person of their little group have gone? The more people there were, the more entertainment she could have. Alayn sighed before straightening up. The guards would most likely catch up soon. There wasn’t much stopping them, especially with the obvious trail of water behind the three.

She had been watching the confrontation silently, not really feeling like speaking out. However, she couldn’t help but let out a yelp as the ground liquefied underneath them. The surprised girl hadn’t realized that she was in the presence of another Harbinger. There hadn’t been a lot of time for her to take notice of any strange features of the people around her.

Falling without warning, she quickly tried to twist around, not wanting to fall on anything important.

Alayn landed on her hand, twisting around to change it into a flip. Landing on her feet, she quickly scanned her surroundings. Seeing nothing that they could use to hide, she then looked around for an exit. The only thing she saw was a window.

Seeing the man running towards the window, she decided to wait and see what came of it before following. She looked away for a moment, trying to spot the other girl.

The two of them had made a loud noise when they fell, but when another loud noise resounded through the air; she couldn’t help but yell out.

You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli] Empty Re: You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli]

Alarms resonated throughout the tall, marble structure of the now deserted museum (with the exception of the tubby security guards and their targets). Having seemingly lost his uniformed pursuers for the time being, Nolli's pace was reduced to an almost leisurely jog. His bare feet padded lightly through the wide halls as he glanced this way and that. The Fugitive Boot-Tosser followed glowing, red exit signs till he came upon an emergency stairwell. Beginning his descent to the floor below, a violent tremble forced Nolli to grab hold of the railing with both hands so as not the fall down the fucking stairs in a tragic accident. The fuck. It felt as if part of the museum had just collapsed. A few seconds passed before the shaking finally ceased. Nolli frowned and mumbled something to the wall, "an earthquake maybe?" The wall did not respond. Rude.

Continuing down the stairs as if nothing happened, Nolli opened the heavy metal door leading to the level below. What. What he saw almost shocked him but didn't-- since Nolli's seen a bunch of bizarre fucking things and nothing ever surprises him anymore. Three of his fellow escapees sat or stood in a shallow pool of cloudy water mixed with dust and rubble. It seemed ceiling above them had completely given out, I guess that explains the rumbling.

A not-so-graceful sound echoed down the hallways.

“What in hell was that?” inquired the ginger chick, rather loudly.

Nolli's head whipped towards the source of the sound. From the hall stumbled two very out of breath guards. Nolli assumed that the noise they'd just heard was probably their ever-so-agile friends delicately crashing into some precious, ten thousand year old artifacts. Nolli snorted, more importantly, were the stocky guards really so out of shape that they were exhausted from a thirty foot run from the elevator?

Still standing in doorway of the fire escape, Nolli's gaze was drawn to the guy, who'd created this whole mess in the first place, as he shot up and sprinted towards a nearby window. Nolli's eyes widened as a sudden realization crossed his mind. Without thinking, he took off after the smoker (who could run surprisingly well for a smoker). Small pieces of ceiling dug into the bottom of his bare feet, reminding Nolli that he could've just thrown something at the guys head, which in turn, reminded him of how well that turned out last time. Barely coming within reach of the man, Nolli grasped for the back of his collar, jerking him back violently. "WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? ARE YOU AWARE THAT WE'RE ON THE SECOND FLOOR?

You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli] Empty Re: You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli]

Her eye twitched when he tucked her hair behind her ear. Seriously? Seriously this dickhead was going to hit on her now? The man thankfully pulled away before crouching down and planting his hands on the ground. Irritation momentarily forgotten, Ceara cocked her head, wondering what the hell he was doing. Her questions were answered as the floor beneath them turned to water, followed by a loud creak.

What the fu-

Suddenly the trio was falling to the floor below them. The girl shot out her left hand to steady herself as she fell and hissed in pain as her wrist twisted at an awkward angle from the abrupt weight. The smoker stood up, commanding them to follow him, and began to run, obviously favoring a leg. The redhead went after him and a thoroughly pissed Ceara followed suit, glancing back up at the remains of the ceiling. They obviously made a lot of noise coming down, so the group should expect some company-

"What in hell was that?”

There we go. She recognized the loud thumping coming from above as the heavy footfalls of their pursuers, plus probably a few more guards. Took them long enough. Being the last one to get up, Ceara could hear them shouting something about a fire escape before she ran out of hearing range. Turning forward again, she noticed the man gesture towards a window before picking up his pace toward it. Eyes wide, she opened her mouth to remind him that they were on the second floor, but a streak of bright colors and brown hair beat her to it, dragging the man back by his jacket, shouting, "WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? ARE YOU AWARE THAT WE'RE ON THE SECOND FLOOR?"

Ceara snorted before a noise from a door (where she assumed Nolli had came from) distracted her. Aw, this really wasn't good. The guards had found them, and by the looks of it they brought some friends to their little party, too.

You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli] Empty Re: You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli]

Post by Hoss Sun Sep 30, 2012 2:59 pm

Hoss had an answer for the girl but he wasn't quite able to give it with the issue of whistling uncontrollably along to the tune that had been so painfully annoyed by for years. He was just about to make his move when he was snapped back by his collar only to have someone scream in his ear. Hoss rebalanced himself carefully before pulling the guy's hand off and glaring at him before moving to the window. Second floor? Was this guy a pussy? The second floor was nothing, falling that far at most if done correctly would just really hurt your shins. If you did it correctly however like landing in the patch of grass they had for appearances, or say hanging off of the window ledge completely before dropping the fall would only be like seven feet if that.

He reached into his bag and touched the window, shutting his eyes as he focused. The guards had gotten really close as Hoss managed to quickly create a circle of newspaper within the window before pulling it out violently. It bought him time to speak. "Don't be a chicken, when you fall collapse in on yourself and roll, you'll be just fine."

It was all about technique over actual physical prowess. If you could redirect that momentum you would sustain little to no injury from falling from heights. That was of course dependent on how much momentum you carried. Falling from this height you wouldn't gain much, jumping was another story if you gave yourself some height before falling. Still, the second floor wouldn't cause much damage.

"Or you could always just do something different than me, I'm not your boss."

Hoss grinned as he made his way through the hole just as he heard someone yelling 'FREEZE', he didn't even get a good look at the guards face as he felt the sensation of falling and watched the earth come up to meet him. He kept his knees loose as he hit the ground and collapsed into a ball, somersaulting forward and jogging away from the building as he began to whistle once more for making the hole.

Later suckers…

If they were smart they'd follow in his footsteps and bounce.

You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli] Empty Re: You Can't Smoke That In Here: Museum Night [Harvey/Alayn/Haze/Nolli]

Wow. If there was one thing that she would say about the guards, she would definitely say that they were persistent. The fact that they had managed to chase them all the way to where they currently were was quite amazing, especially since they were so out of shape. It definitely added to the excitement, if nothing else.

Looking over at the smoker, she saw him about to jump out of the window.

Jumping out of the window from the second floor? That seemed pretty legit. It was only the second floor after all.

Hearing a noise, she turned to see it coming from the door where the last of their group had just arrived from. As much as she wanted to stay, she had no intention of getting arrested, nor was she going to reveal her Harbinger powers if there was no need. In that case, the only way to go was out through the window.

Mentally shrugging, she made her way over to where she would escape. Looking out, she mentally calculated how she would land. It wouldn’t do to get hurt. Seeing the smoker run just out of line of sight, she decided to hurry up and catch up to him.

After a mental count to three, she jumped.

The fall was quick and short, and Alayn barely managed to not break anything. Getting into a roll a mere half second before hitting the ground was considered very close, right? Getting to her feet, she made her way after crimson eyed man, limping slightly from hurting her ankle. She wasn’t the most athletic person after all.
