It may not seem like it, but your moderator team has actually been working on things (no, we're not being lazy, promise).

We have a few announcements to make, and hopefully some of them are exciting for you lot.

Next, the process to gain a higher rank has been changed. It is in the FAQ, but for quick reference, here it is:

How does my character get promoted?
When a character is created, and later on if they join a gang, their initial rank is D. This is the lowest rank you can ever have. Promotion from rank D to rank C is occurs when a character has successfully completed at least two Missions (Bounties for Civilian characters) of D-rank and one of C-rank. To go from rank C to rank B requires you to successfully complete three of C-rank and two of B-rank. Eligibility for ranking up from rank B to rank A requires successful completion of four B-rank Missions and two A-rank as well as nomination from another member of the same group. Each group may currently have only 2 members of rank A. Only under special circumstances will rank S be granted. Completing S-ranked missions will grant bonus rep and potential other bonuses (pending).

When you have met the requirements for ranking up, submit a thread in the Evaluation section linking each of the missions. Missions used for one rank cannot be used for another.

It is possible to be demoted due to either a string of bad luck or lack of participation. In addition, if you change groups (join a gang, leave a gang, change gangs), you lose your prior rank and are re-set to rank D. If you later re-join a group, you do not regain your prior rank but must start from the bottom rank again.

Third on the list is that we will be opening for applications on June 1. We will close again on June 14.

And last is that we are working on creating a Rep Market. In it, you'll be able to purchase additional character slots, increase your stats, purchase weapons and certain other items based on rank, and so on. The option to trade Rep points for art will be made available as well.
