Alexander found himself grimacing as he rode on the Green Line to the East District. It seemed that someone had signed up for the Bounty on Adam Adams, aka Hippo, right after he had, which meant he'd be working with (or against) another person. He hadn't really needed the money, but 1000 Credits was still a decent lump sum of money. Even if most of it would go to paying hospital bills. He had no idea who the other person was, but the man had a feeling that he wasn't going to like them. Why? Because that was who Alex was. A grumpy old (okay, not really) man who liked no one, save for Karis, but he was relatively stuck with her for reasons that were better not delved into at the moment.

It was another sweltering summer day in the Substratum and a day he'd rather be sitting inside instead of being out among the commonwealth and idiots that plagued the city. Winter was too far away and the man didn't really deal well with heat, which is why he kind of loathed the fact that he needed to smoke cigarettes anytime he wanted to shock some poor sap into oblivion. So, to curb the effects of the heat slightly, Alex dressed rather simply today: Blue jeans, a white shirt and a black blazer over it that he kept open. Sitting in the breast pocket of said blazer was His usual purple tinted sunglasses obscured his eyes from public view and his fedora helped to further shield his face from the sun.

Pulling out his phone, Alex flipped it back open to check if there was any more information posted on the man known as Hippo.
"Last known location: East District Abandoned Railyard," he muttered to himself aloud, unaware if the person he was supposedly teaming up with was also on the same metro line to the East District. He flipped it closed again and glanced up as the metro slowly pulled into the station, the man pushing off the pole he was leaning against and waiting for the door to open.
