Cool, his aim was right on target. The train jolted and they were all thrown a little to the side, he gripped a nearby pole and let his legs slide off the bench. All recovered and Flara plopped down next to him. Well, at least she was marginally better than Kier and he hadn’t done anything stupid yet to make her blow up at him yet.

It really was a lot of bags, maybe she went on bounties a lot and rewarded herself wit ha shopping spree or something. Her rebuttal was kind of ruined by the few minutes it took her to rummage through all those bags and find the panda. Andrew even got up and moved to a cart further down. Well good riddance then, it took long enough for the redhead to realize that Trevor had not found his jokes very funny.

She must have found it because he felt something soft land on his head. He took it off and after a moment of inspection placed it in his own plastic bag. He could give it to Hoss along with the tea, he would probably find it amusing at least.

Well, Flara finally got the panda off of her hands. Now it was time to eat. Her stomach growled quietly in agreement. After more rummaging, the brunette found the bag containing five pork buns. She grabbed one and began to eat. Okay, so maybe you weren't even suppose to eat in the metro, but she did it all the time, and so did a lot of other people. There was even a bitten apple on the floor to prove her point.

Flara finished two of pork buns before deciding to save the rest for later. She was still sort of hungry, but she could wait. For the next couple of minutes, Flara just sat there, doing nothing. There wasn't really much to say to the guy whom she still did not know the freaking name of. She couldn't help the fact that she wasn't much of a people's person. Actually, there was one thing she could talk about...

"So, the gerbil. What did you do with it?" Flara asked. She had a thing against tiny furry things meant to be cute, but the gerbil had grown on her in the short time she'd carried it with her. Not that she was willing to admit it. While waiting for an answer, the brunette thought about what the man could have done to the gerbil. He could've just dumped it back on the streets, or maybe he chucked it into a river? Perhaps he cooked it and ate it? Flara hoped not. But she didn't really know much about the guy so...

Well someone else was apparently very hungry. Hardly sat down before she started chowing down on what looked like some kind of round bun thing. He could smell the faint meat scent from it though and despite the apple he ate earlier the scent made him remember he hadn’t eaten much today.

“I kept it, what else was I supposed to do?” He was only partly surprised she brought it up, after all it seemed like Flara had given it to him in the first place just on some whim. Not unhappy about it though, Ievan was a good pet and wasn’t difficult to take care of. And several of his friends—could they be called that?—liked the gerbil a lot so that was pretty ok. Well except maybe Hoss, but that was mostly teasing. He hoped.

Speaking of Ievan…he glanced out the window, it was darker than before, rain still pouring down and he cursed inwardly for it. How much longer until south? His gerbil should’ve been fed by now. He didn’t often leave for long periods of time like this.
